After weeks of just plugging away making beats, I realized I needed to both change up my patterns and also create some human interactions. So, for about 3 months, I would go on Instagram live once or twice a week and make a beat for whoever wanted to watch. Not only was this a way to be interactive with all the similarly locked down people, but it was also a way to challenge myself. I had to make a beat, entirely from scratch, in a one hour time frame (IG live only allows you to stream for an hour at a time). So, for better or for worse, I'd plug away and do my best with what I had. This album is a result of that.
